My mom and I took a quick trip to NC last weekend. The main reason was so that she could talk to some companies about the hill right behind the house. Unless we do something to stabilize it, it's going to wash away. She talked to 3 guys and we're waiting for estimates. Interestingly, all 3 had different suggestions on what to do.
We also did a little shopping and did a few more things in the house - hung some pictures, etc. It was really nice to sleep in every day. :)

Where was this picture taken? I don't recognize the building.
You know when you leave the house to head to town and you come to the bottom of Chestnut Hill Rd and you normally take a left on Old Highway 16 (where Freddie P is), well if you take a right on Old Highway 16 instead, downtown Crumpler is about a mile down the road. That picture is the Crumpler post office and the gas station.
