3 Year Stats

We had Noah's 3 year appointment about 1.5 months late (do you see a pattern here?).

Weight: 33.8 lbs (75%)
Height: 39.3 inches (90-95%)

Do these stats even matter anymore? All I know is that I've got about 6.5 more pounds before I have to buy a new car seat.

Last year we had Noah's 2 year pictures taken in July - 2 months after his birthday. This year, we were 3 months behind schedule. Soon enough we'll be getting his 7 year pictures taken when he's 8.

This morning, Noah and I headed over to Grinny's house to do a little swimming. He hasn't had swim lessons yet, but I'm trying to take him swimming when I can so that he can get really comfortable in the water. He always starts out petrified to let go of my arm or bathing suit, but after being in the water for a while he loosens up quite a bit. This was the first day he jumped in the pool all by himself! He was so proud...as was I. :)

Conversations with Noah

Me: Let's go downstairs to watch Pinocchio. There's nothing to sit on up here and my legs hurt.
Noah: MY legs don't hurt.
Me: Yeah, well, mommy's old.
Noah: (thinks about this for a moment) I'm not old - I'm new!

Me: If you run in the street and get hit by a car it's going to hurt really bad.
Noah: And then I'll have to put on a lot of Spiderman Band-aids!
